Accessibility

Measured, not asserted. Every colour pairing on this site carries its contrast ratio in the stylesheet.

Every photograph on this site carries a written description of what is in it.

What we have done

  • Body text is set at 17px, not the usual 16px, and the layout holds a comfortable line length rather than filling the window.
  • Focus is always visible: a 3px outline with a 2px offset, never removed.
  • The menu works from the keyboard. Escape closes it and returns focus to the button that opened it.
  • The sequence bars and charts are drawn in CSS and carry text alternatives that name every stage in order, so the information is available without seeing the graphic.
  • Motion respects prefers-reduced-motion. There is very little of it to begin with.
  • No external requests. Fonts are self-hosted; apart from the PostHog visit recordings described in the privacy notice, nothing about your visit goes to anyone else.

What contrast was each pairing measured at?

Every semantic colour is annotated in src/styles/tokens.css with its measured WCAG 2.1 ratio. No text pairing on the site falls below 4.5:1.

Asked about reading this site

What do I do if a page on this site will not work for me?

Call +1 (904) 395-4339 and say what failed and what you were using to read it. A booking can be taken entirely over the phone — nothing on this site has to work for you to book a visit, and there is no form to fill in anywhere on it.

Can the diagnostic sequence be read without seeing the graphics?

Yes. The sequence bars and charts are drawn in CSS rather than as images, and each carries a text alternative naming every stage in order. The same stages are written out in full on the diagnostics pages, one page per stage.
